Jersey Dairy has won eight awards at a leading UK agricultural show – including first prize for milk.

Pasteurised Whole Jersey Milk came top of its category at the Great Yorkshire Show, and Jersey Dairy also won awards for yogurts and butter at the event, which took place in July.

The company was also successful at last month’s prestigious Nantwich International Show, winning four awards. Jersey Dairy’s whipping cream won a gold award while single cream got bronze and double cream received very highly commended. A silver award also went to their luxury lemon curd yogurt.

Head of Quality, Janet Wyatt, said: “We’re delighted to have won so many prizes at these two major British shows. Jersey Dairy is focused on increasing exports and maintaining the Island’s reputation for producing high quality and nutritional dairy products. We hope these awards will help develop national recognition of the range of excellent products available locally.”
